Odd Spot of Writing

Creativity is iterative. And emergent. Small ideas coalesce into bigger, more sustained concepts. Below are the sketches for novel-length ideas. Using the daily Odd Spot from The Age newspaper, I take inspiration and write 200~words that explores some element of a larger idea. This could be theme related or something that reveals the inner truth of a character. No sketch need abide by the world-building of past sketches. Each “season” explores a different set of characters and setting.

Season One – Random ideas that built the concept of daily sketching.

Season Two – Wasn’t Anger.
